Digging Out

The kids could hardly wait to get outside this morning and I couldn't wait to get them outside! It is really cold today with our expected high at a whopping 17 degrees but we were going outside!

After getting the kids all bundled up we went outside to face the cold. The kids had a blast digging tunnels and Michaela pulled the kids around the courtyard on the sled. I kept warm by digging my way down to the laundry room. Since Emersynne was wearing her last clean outfit, laundry couldn't wait another day.

There is sunshine and blue sky so hopefully we get a chance to dig out before we get more snow.

I can't believe how much snow you've had so far... that tunnel looks like a lot of fun and work!!! I remember playing in about that much snow when I was a kid ;-) Good times!!!!
I am sure kids are loving no school days... not so sure about you though.

Brrrr!! That's just insane that it's that cold! Looks like fun though! That one pic of Natalie (i think it's her) looks just like Julia!

Our weather is just something else. We loved your picture! I friend of ours saw it on our fridge and was very impressed that you got all of the kids to look at the camera:) A feat that we are still trying to master. Hence why we didn't send an updated pic. I hope you are ready for this weekend. I keep mistaking Abigayle for Natalie in pics. She looks so much like Nat did when we left.

Tamara, I have just enjoyed reading your last several posts and it looks like you are enjoying lots of snow, Christmas fun, snow, cold and then more snow!!!! I hope you thaw out soon, but if I remember Worcester correctly, it will be a while. Very cute pictures of all the children, I am so impressed at how clean they looked while decorating cookies. I have always been amazed at how well you can keep your kids clean and organized. After doing cookies, my children look like a decorated cookie themselves!!!

Sending lots of love to you and your family and wish you a very Happy New Year!
