I'm always giving Jeremiah a bad time about his trips out to the dumpster. He takes the trash out and comes home with something he thinks is so wonderful that we now have to find a home for. I've always thought this was his secret way of trying to get out of this chore.
I do have to admit that he has occasionally gotten some great stuff. Last Christmas it was a big TV, (someone must have gotten something better from Santa),bikes for three of our kids that only needed minimal repairs, and today's treasure was a new crib for Abigail. Gently used and way nicer than what we have. Score!
So I have to say Jeremiah, sorry for all the grumbling when you take out the trash and come back with "treasures". Thanks for being on the lookout for cool free stuff!
As the saying goes, "One man's junk is another man's treasure!"
Even Abigail likes her new crib!

Wow! A crib? I remember going to the dump with my dad and searching for treasures. Pretty gross actually, but we always brought stuff home.
Abigail looks good in it!
No way? Someone just threw that out? Abigail DOES look good in it.
Oops, that's No WAY with an exclamation point, not a question mark.
How nice! Wish someone would just drop something like that on my doorstep.
Yes, I can't believe the things people throw out because they are too lazy to find somebody that can use it. The crib had been taken apart and had a few mud splatters on it from being out by the dumpster but we cleaned it all up and put it together. We've never had a new crib, just hand-me-downs and this one that we got out of the trash is the best one yet!
I can't believe she is standing already! judging from the last time I saw her she should be little and maybe crawling! That crib looks beautiful. Why did someone just throw that??
