Life-changing link #3: Project Gutenberg

Project Gutenberg provides free downloads of literary works that are in the public domain. I was going to save this link for a later date, but feel that its significance warrants an earlier showing than most of my other links.

How has it changed my life? Let's go to the Top 100 Most Downloaded Book page on Project Gutenberg. Since purchasing my first Palm PDA (my preferred device for reading ebooks), I have downloaded from Project Gutenberg and read:
  • Pride and Prejudice
  • A Tale of Two Cities
  • ...
Oh. I guess that's it from the Top 100 List, but other titles include:
  • Notre Dame de Paris
  • Bram Stoker's Dracula
  • Sense and Sensibility
  • The Last of the Mohicans
  • Frankenstein
  • In His Steps

I'm just coming back to this post that I started some time ago, and I am not sure where I was going, other than to say that I really enjoyed the literature, and it is FREE!
